Hi, my name is Livia! I'm a Brazilian who grew up in a sunny city near the ocean, a mother of two, and a compulsive reader. I'm also a researcher who recently completed a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering at the University of Campinas, Brazil.

My doctoral research focused on applying deep learning to medical images and included a six-month internship at the Athinoula A. Martinos Center at MGH/Harvard. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at DICIPHR, studying TBI imaging data.
