I am dedicated to brain tumors and skull base surgery. My practice is centered on awake
surgery for low and high-grade gliomas, and transsphenoidal endoscopic surgery for pituitary tumors.
My PhD and ongoing research interests are: (i) glioblastoma stem cells, in particular the
identification of stem-like markers to target in order to induce their differentiation process,
and (ii) increasingly, the study of neuroplasticity and connectivity in brain tumor patients.
Indeed, based on my clinical activity as a neurosurgeon-oncologist, my research aims to improve
the results of glioblastoma treatments through a biological approach, directly targeting
the stem characteristics of glioblastoma cells, and through a functionalist approach to
the brain by improving the quality of the resection while preserving neuro-cognitive functions.
